We have partnered with Google Search to improve search results, we have the radio show podcast available and soon stream our affiliate stations. Also toolbar users will get exclusive downloads before anyone else.

NEW YORK, July 29, 2008 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX News Network/ -- SIRIUS Satellite Radio (Nasdaq: SIRI) and XM Satellite Radio today announced that they have completed their merger, resulting in the nation's premier radio company. The new company plans to change its corporate name to SIRIUS XM Radio Inc. The combined company's stock will continue to be traded on the Nasdaq Global Select Market under the symbol "SIRI."

SIRIUS XM Radio begins day one with over 18.5 million subscribers, making it the second-largest radio company, based upon revenue, in the country; and, based upon subscribers, the second largest subscription media business in the U.S. With under 10% penetration of the home and car market, the opportunity for continued growth is significant.

MTV's Rasika Mathur Joins Everywhere Radio

Rasika Mathur, star of Nick Cannon's comedy show Wild N' Out, grabbed the attention of radio & mix-tape king, DJ BIJAL, resulting in the "We Wild N Out" mix-tape in 2006. Building a relationship over the year and gaining recognition from this collaboration the two are once again joining forces. Comedienne Rasika Mathur, best known for not playing a Ho on 4 seasons of MTV's Wild N Out, is a sketch comedy and improv performer from Ho, Tx. Trained at Second City, Chicago, she began her stage career in the troupe Stir Friday Night! before moving out to LA. Since then, she has also booked a pilot with Bob Odenkirk, and the chance to flex her funny on The Andy Dick Show, Weeds (ep. 14 this season!) and My Name is Earl.She is a featured artist on Superdeluxe.com, where her series Sourced Out addresses serious world issues like outsourcing. She has also MCed high profile South Asian events such as Bhangra Blowout 06, Bibi Magazine Sexy 7, NETIP-Praashi Fashion Show 06, and a gala for Bobby Jindal back in 2004. Everywhere Radio lands in London

DJ Bijal strikes again, this time with a forceful blow. Beginning in the month of May, Everywhere Radio will be airing on Force 106.5 FM, London. Since its inception in 1994, Force 106.5 FM has been known for its consistent broadcasting standards and has become one of the most popular stations in the UK. Force has managed to establish its status by offering a variety of programming.
